Dos Dias
Hola mi familla! Como estan! Muchos gracias por los cartes y por serando el mejore familia en la tierra! Anyways, I do have a little bit more time this week, I am grateful to say. We still don't have nearly so much time as I would like. 30 minutes really is not very much! I don't know what the whole situation will be like for email down in Peru, but we can always hope for the best. I think that dearelder.com does actually work for out of country, but I am not quite sure. I definitely hope that you will check it out though, as I am afraid for how long the mail may take to get back and forth from Lima. I got three letters today at lunch!! It was so amazing. Thank you, I think I got letters from every one in the family, and Carli, I did get your letters. You truly do not understand the help they have been to me, unless you have served a mission yourself. And thank you Stacey for the letters, and Lydia for the post card. I think there was supposed to be a picture on the front of it, but it must have fallen off. Trust me, you can never get too much mail.
Well, I have come to recognize that the unanimous decision is that you want more actual MTC experiences. I don't have too many, because it is pretty much the same thing everyday, but I will see what I can do.
Well, I have had one kind of bad gym experience. I realized that the talent level for many of the missionaries is not quite competitive, especially in Volleyball, so I had kind of toned it down a little bit. But as time moved on, people were hitting hard, and things were heating up, so i decided I could let loose a little. I guess I needed a little humbling, because I hit a sister square in the face, and I felt awful. She was fine, but it wasn't quite the same after that. I actually have no more gym days, as we are not allowed to play on the day before we leave, so I am finished.
The food here is really quite good. I had chicken cordon bleu the other sunday, and it was pretty great. I really like how they have so many varieties of everything.
My district is really great, and I am sad to be leaving all of them shortly. I have come to appreciate them very much, and I think they will all make great missionaries.
We had the opportunity to hear from President Uchtdorf this last Tuesday here at the gym. It was so good. I love the amazing feelings I get from going to these great firesides and devotionals.
Well, I am short on time once again, but I don't really have all that much else to say.
I know that our Father in Heaven loves us, and that if we are patient, humble, and prayerful, He will lift us up much higher than we ever dreamed. Our Savior Jesus Christ has ransomed us from death, and if we ever call on His name, we can receive that great reward reserved for us in the Kingdom of our Father.
Love you all, Elder Milner
